How to pack light

  • Fill your ORLÉMUR UTC with soft clothes that are less prone to wrinkles, such as underwear, socks, rolled T-shirts, swimsuit, microfiber towel, scarf, or a sleeveless down jacket.
  • Plan on filling it with at least one outfit to avoid inconvenience in case your checked baggage is lost. Users faced this unfortunate but increasingly common issue, and they were relieved to have extra underwear, socks and a T-shirt, to still enjoy their journey despite bad luck.
  • For better comfort, make sure the filling closest to the middle on both sides is soft, as this will be the main point of contact with your head.
  • Resist the temptation to overstuff it, as too much filling can make the cushioning too firm. The zippers should slide smoothly when closing.
  • When positioning, after slightly reclining your seat, the pillow lies behind your head. The ORLÉMUR label should be at the top, the embroidered logo on your left side, and the silicone grip at the back in contact with the headrest. You should feel it on your shoulders, but it should not support the full weight of the pillow since your head applies it against the headrest.
  • Adjust the cord stopper at the back to fit your neck comfortably. You can also push the stopper all the way to cinch the two sides together and make a compact pouch, which can easily fit in your luggage or backpack.
  • Since most long-haul flights come with seats equipped with foldable wings on the sides of the headrest, don't hesitate to adjust them to secure the pillow in place or make it more tight (so once again, no need to fill the pillow to the max).
  • You can also use the cord at the back to hold the pillow against the headrest. Unleash the cord stopper side to increase the length of the cord, and place it over the headrest, so it stays in place if you get up to go to the restrooms.
  • Of course, on your trip back you can fill it with dirty clothes since there won't be any bad smell for you or your neighbours, so they won't know anything about it (tested and approved).
  • Once you're back home, you can wash it in the washing machine with the rest of your laundry up to 30°C or about 85°F (no drier though).
  • Keep in mind that you will learn along the way: the more you travel with it, the more you will know what type of filling suits you best, for tailor-made comfort.
  • Bonus tip: The zipper pulls can be taken out, to be used as regular elastics, which can come handy on the go.

And last but not least : Make it yours, et BON VOYAGE!
